We all know about and are probably disgusted by the very HIGH profile Casey Anthony trial but she was tried and found not guilty. All we can do is move forward and try to make change in our judicial system that fails us so often.
After she was found Not Guilty, a woman in Oklahoma, Michelle Crowder, decided to start a petition named after the young Caylee Anthony. With Caylee’s Law in place, it would be a federal offense for a parent or legal guardian to not report their child missing in a timely manner. I’m not sure what “timely” means to authorities but hopefully this will bring about more responsible adults and protect children nationwide.
